On Remembrance Day in Canada persons of the armed forces (sailors, airmen, and soldiers) are celebrated. There is another simple title for this day is Armistice Day which tells us the time when armies stopped battle in World War I. On 11th November at Morning 11 am in 1918 (the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month). About 100,000 Canadian military men died in the 1st and 2nd World Wars. 

Remembrance Day in Canada:

Remembrance Day in Canada is a national legal holiday, with a notable exception of NWT, NS, QC and ON as it is in many other countries where this day was determined as a national grade.
The Canadian flag billow on all government building this day and all nation remember those persons who fought and died for Canada. Most of peoples wear poppies on Remembrance Day to show their respect in their hearts and support for Canadian army. Poppies are usually handed out free but also voluntary donation is given.

Remembrance Day stimulate interest in retrieve the war and soldier’s sacrifices, inspiring thousands to ceremonies in many large and small cities across the country. It remind a day to honor the fallen, but conventional services also inform casual recalls to remember the r of war and to include peace. Remembrance Day ceremonies were generally held at war memorials and community cenotaphs, or sometimes at education institutes or at other public places. 2 min of silence, the recitation of In Flanders Fields, the playing of the Last Post, and the wearing of poppy flowers promptly became link up with the ceremony.

NOTE:The Canadian Parliament passed a Remembrance Day bill to notice ceremonies on the 1st Monday in the week of 11th November from 1921.
