Introduction:
Remembrance Day, Veterans Day, Armistice Day, or Memorial Day is the same day celebrating on the 11th November in the many Nations.
Remembrance means the ability to recall past occurrences.
Memorial means a recognition of meritorious service.
Armistice means a state of peace agreed to between opponents so they can discuss peace terms.
Veterans mean a person who has served in the armed forces.
As you read, I determined that these are the synonyms of each other. This day is also called a poppy day. Poppy is a flower.

Remembrance Day is an occasion in the memory of World War 1 soldiers. At the 11th November 1918, the World War 1 end. In World War 1, 9 million soldiers sacrificed their lives and 21 million soldiers injured.

Austria-Hungary, Germany, France, Russia, and Great Britain each country lost about a million or more lives. Besides it, at least 5 million civilians died from starvation, disease, or exposure. World War 1 is also known as the war that ends all wars because of the great massacre and destruction it caused.
Why does Remembrance Day celebrate?
11th hour on 11th month the Cannon of the Western front become silent after the more than 4 years. The united armies had driven the German encroacher back, having imposed heavy defeats upon them over the previous four months.
Germans called it Armistice Day. They agreed allied policies that amounted to unconditional surrender.
In 1919, on the 1st anniversary of the armistice 2 minutes' silence was established as part of the main memorialization ceremony at the new Cenotaph in London. The silence was suggest by Australian journalist Edward Honey, who worked in Fleet Street.
In 1920, on the 2nd anniversary of the armistice the commemoration was given added importance when it became a ceremony.
Note:
After the Second World War, the British and Australian governments altered the name to Remembrance Day. Armistice Day was not a proper name for a day which would commemorate all war dead.
